The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the department's production and quality goals are met. Applicants must have strong technical knowledge and problem solving skills. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions accurately, learn complex tasks quickly, and complete tasks in a timely manner. Experience working in a GMP/document controlled environment would be beneficial. Attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment are essential. Candidates must be willing and able to learn new manufacturing processes as the company grows and also to work overtime (weekends and evenings).

Large scale column chromatography
Product recovery using TFF
Large scale buffer/media preparation
pH precipitation
Aseptic liquid fill/finish
Equipment cleaning (CIP/SIP)
Timely completion and review of production documentation
Entry of in-process data into trending databases
BS degree in biological sciences, or a related field, or a minimum of two years' experience in production/purification of biologics
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Must be resourceful and self-motivated
Must be willing to work overtime (including evenings and weekends) as required
Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Quality Control Analyst I
Full-Time   08-142 (AD)

The QC Analyst will report directly to the Senior QC Analyst and will be primarily responsible for release testing of Repligen Bioprocessing finished products. Activities supporting this function include HPLC, SDS Page and microbiological analysis of proteins as well as testing of pre-packed OPUS columns. The successful candidate will perform incoming inspection of OPUS components, support activities for facilities including collection of Environmental Monitoring data in the clean rooms as well as monitoring and testing the in-house reverse osmosis deionized water (RODI) system. The candidate will actively follow Repligen ISO 9001 Quality Management System in support of Bioprocessing manufacturing processes and final product testing, including additional laboratory compliance as assigned by the Sr. QC Analyst.

Conducts final product testing for release of products manufactured by Repligen Waltham
Conducts biochemical release tests of affinity ligands produced at Repligen Sweden AB
Conducts inspection, preparation, and release of incoming OPUS components
Performs final testing of finished OPUS columns and documents results for product release and assists with any additional OPUS related QC requirements
Carries out monitoring of controlled environments and RO/DI water system and records data for trend analysis
May assist with OOS investigations, failure investigations and change controls associated with QC testing
Maintains laboratory inventory for reagents and supplies
Requires college level education in Biology or related field and 0-2 years' experience in Quality Control laboratory or equivalent
Ability to work efficiently in an ISO-9001 quality system with appropriate attention to detail in the performance of controlled procedures
Good understanding of the fundamentals of column chromatography
Working knowledge of HPLC analysis methods and other routine biochemical methods including instrument maintenance and standardization

Director Market Research and Analytics

Establishes, executes and monitors market development, commercial market research, sales operations and analytic requirements for the company. Responsible for conceiving analytical approaches, establishing research plans and executing those plans to deliver valuations, insights and programming to guide decision making and effectiveness of both the market development and commercial organizations.

Works actively across the organization in support of market development and sales and marketing leadership to effectively develop, manage and execute strategies and tactics required to achieve business and market development goals. This includes support for acquisition and partnering activities as well as product market assessments and field sales force effectiveness.
Establish, manage and track budgeting of cross functional efforts.
Analytical and programming support of all sales organizations is required.
Partners with marketing in identifying, tracking and reporting to senior management on leading and lagging indicators of performance that assesses organizational performance against resources expenditures.
Provides detail market analysis and competitive intelligence on a periodic or project basis.
Responsible for conducting primary and secondary market research using qualitative and quantitative data to create financial models and analytical support for both in-line products and market development opportunities.
Actively interfaces with product management and field sales to establish metrics and monitoring approaches that assess marketing and sales impact.
Presentations to all levels of management are required to validate market insights and organizational performance.
Perform other duties as required.
BA/BS degree in scientific field required, and MBA preferred
5-10 years biotechnology/pharmaceutical market knowledge and research experience essential
Experience in field sales operations required
