 High Performance

Process Development

  • Resin screening / Condition screening
  • Parameter optimization

The development of a purification workflow for a specific molecule requires evaluation of the resin and the operating conditions for each chromatography step.

Using a scale-down chromatography column configuration drives efficiency and higher throughput. The performance of OPUS® MiniChrom® Columns is equivalent to the performance of larger columns, yielding reliable and predictive chromatography performance data. Using these smaller scale-down columns for process development saves valuable samples, cost, resources and time.

Results can be saved in a resin library of preferred resins.

 High Performance

Sample preparation / Process Analytical Technology (PAT)

  • Larger protein quantities

The development and manufacture of a biotherapeutic requires significant analytical characterization of in-process intermediates.  Non-purified samples require sample preparation before analysis can be executed. OPUS MiniChrom Columns enable one-step purification of multiple samples in parallel.

Use of OPUS MiniChrom Columns generates 8-400 mg of sample per run.

OPUS MiniChrom Pre-packed Columns for Process Development

Designed for bench-scale resin screening, process development,  and sample preparation, OPUS® MiniChrom® Columns are pre-packed with user-specified resin and supplied ready to use with any liquid chromatography system.  Flexible column dimension configurations (internal diameters, bed heights, volumes) allow comparative evaluation of process parameters and the construction of customized resin libraries.
