Defining Our Focus

At Repligen, we understand the value in monitoring emerging issues that are material to our business and our value chain, assessing related topics according to new information, emerging compliance requirements and evolving stakeholder expectations. As part of our sustainability strategy, we completed our first enterprise-level Double Materiality Assessment (DMA), building on earlier work to sharpen understanding of the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics most relevant to long-term value creation.

Using a rigorous, ESRS-aligned approach, the company partnered with a leading sustainability consultancy to review internal and external inputs, engage more than 60 subject matter experts and stakeholders, and assess and score impacts, risks, and opportunities through a structured ESRS framework. The results were validated with senior leadership and now anchor the sustainability strategy and 3–5-year roadmap, strengthening CSRD readiness while improving the quality, consistency, and discipline of long-term business decision making.
