Phil joined Repligen/Spectrum in 2008 after graduating with a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine. His primary focus was to develop and test modified polyether sulfone (mPES) hollow-fiber membranes. In 2010, he took time to pursue his Ph.D. in Chemistry at the University of California, Davis, where he studied the mechanisms of DNA repair enzymes. Phil rejoined the company in 2017 as an Application Scientist, and is now primarily focused on internal and external product and applications support, and compiling technical and application notes.
